Gemini 2.5 Pro now leads AI benchmarks, dominating Arena leaderboards with enhanced reasoning and multimodal capabilities.Gemini Flash received a major upgrade, maintaining its speed while improving efficiency.Deep Think Mode, an advanced reasoning model, is being tested, showing significant improvements in math, coding, and logic-based tasks.Gemma 3n, a mobile-first open model, launched in preview, rivaling larger models like Claude 3.7 Sonnet while optimizing on-device AI performance.Gemini Live, featuring real-time camera and screen-sharing, is now free for all users, with deeper personalization features rolling out soon.

AI Mode in Search, powered by Gemini 2.5, is now live for U.S. users, introducing Deep Search and Gemini Live integration.Agentic AI Shopping tools, including a virtual try-on feature, allow users to preview clothing on AI-generated avatars.Search Live, a multimodal voice query tool, enables real-time interactions with AI-powered search.Jules, Google’s autonomous coding agent, entered public beta, assisting developers by integrating directly into codebases.Agent Mode, available in both Search and Gemini, can now complete up to 10 tasks simultaneously, streamlining workflows.

OpenAI’s new software engineering agent 🧑‍💻 

OpenAI has launched Codex, a cloud-based software engineering AI agent designed to automate coding tasks like writing features, fixing bugs, running tests, and answering codebase questions.

Codex operates in a secure sandbox environment, preloaded with a user’s GitHub repository, allowing it to perform multiple tasks in parallel. It is powered by codex-1, a specialized version of OpenAI’s o3 reasoning model, trained using reinforcement learning on real-world coding tasks.

The AI agent provides verifiable evidence of its actions through citations of terminal logs and test outputs, ensuring transparency. OpenAI is rolling out Codex to ChatGPT Pro, Team, and Enterprise users, with plans to expand access to Plus and Edu users soon.

Google, Netflix bring AI to video advertising 📺️ 

Google and Netflix are revolutionizing video advertising with AI-powered formats designed to enhance engagement and personalization.

YouTube’s “Peak Points” Ads: Google is using Gemini AI to analyze videos and strategically place ads after emotionally charged moments, ensuring maximum viewer impact.Netflix’s AI-Generated Ads: Netflix is developing ads that visually blend with its shows and movies, integrating brands into the content itself. These ads will appear midroll or during pause screens, making them feel more natural and immersive.Interactive Features: Netflix’s AI-driven ads may include overlays, call-to-action buttons, and second-screen interactions, offering advertisers more dynamic placement options.

xAI’s Grok 3 comes to Microsoft Azure 🤝 

xAI, has officially launched Grok 3 and Grok 3 Mini on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, expanding Grok’s availability beyond its initial deployment on X. Microsoft is now providing enterprise-grade access to Grok 3, offering direct billing, service-level agreements, and additional governance features not present in the X-hosted versions 😲 

The Azure-hosted models come with enhanced customization options, structured outputs, and extended reasoning capabilities tailored for industries like finance, healthcare, and law. Grok 3 models will be free to use on Azure throughout June, allowing developers and businesses to explore their potential ✅ 

While Grok is known for its unfiltered responses, the Azure versions implement stricter safeguards, ensuring responsible AI deployment for enterprise users. Microsoft continues expanding its AI ecosystem with diverse model offerings.
